A Day In The Life Of Norman – River Dogs Dog Blog
Hello everyone (and hello Mum and Dad!). What a day it’s been at River Dogs, full of sun, sleep and a little bit of surfing (but more about that later!).
I started the day off with a little walk, just to stretch my legs and get my creative juices flowing for the day ahead. I saw a couple of squirrels and fancied a bit of a chase, but im on the bench for the River Dogs footie team and didn’t want to injure my goal scoring paws (they need me if we’re going to get into the next round!)
We carried on walking through the park and then headed down towards the river. I was about to take a dip in the water when I saw a dog that looked just like me staring back at me! I decided it would be rude to disturb him, so I gave him a quick bark and then tootled off (note to self – must check if I have an identical twin when I get home).
When we got back to River Dogs I found out that I’d been given a promotion! Helen, the nice lady who tickles me behind my ears, asked me to help out with organising the day’s activities for tomorrow. Whilst all of the other dogs were chasing their tails I was working on my career as an events organiser, and I think I’m pretty good at it too. Tomorrow’s activities are sleeping, eating, more sleeping, and then finally some surfing!
You might not think that I’m an international surf star, but I’m pretty nifty when it comes to staying on the play mats at the end of the day. It’s my favourite sport, and now all I need to do is find a doggy sized surfboard.
Anyway, that’s me done for the day. Time for a well earned snooze I think! See you soon River Dogs team!
