A Pooch Pool Party In Our Brand New Doggy Day Care Tadcaster HQ
If you keep up to date with the River Dogs social media feed then you may have noticed that the Doggy Day Care Tadcaster scene just got a brand new and exciting play area! We’ve built a brand new dog friendly play yard for your furry friends to enjoy the sun and tear around with their pals in the open air, and what better way to christen our new space than with a pooch pool party! We let our customers sink their teeth into the new space and get their paws in on the action. Here’s what happened!
Doggy Day Care Tadcaster – A Pooch Pool Party In Our Brand New Play Yard!
Hi everyone! My name’s Hudson, and I’m what you might call the narrator of this little story. I heard that there was a pool party going on so I did what any sane swimmer would do; I grabbed the nearest towel and bagged myself the only chair (I’m a smart cookie, you’ve got to get up very early to beat me!). The other members of our Doggy Day Care Tadcaster crew tried to claim my throne for themselves but I wasn’t having any of it! I can see all of the party from up here on my perch, and what a party it is!
This is Ellie – she’s one cool customer and the life and soul of the party. I asked her to pose for a picture so that you can see how big the pool is, and I think you’ll all agree that the man in shorts could have bought us a bigger one if he stopped splashing out on new shorts! Anyway, we’re happy with our new pool and I guess beggars can’t be choosers! Immediately after this photo was taken Ellie did a cannon ball into the pool and splashed us all – another reason why I’m super glad I brought my own towel!
Speaking of the man in shorts, he’s back! After working tirelessly to make our new play area for us, he’s returned with a whistle and is overseeing the pool party with me from what I call ‘the chair zone’. As the hottest name on the Doggy Day Care Tadcaster scene, River Dogs takes the safety of it’s customers very seriously. Every pool party needs a lifeguard, but I don’t think ours is going to have a big job on his hands considering the size of the pool. I mean come one, I couldn’t even do a length in it! Ahem…but we love it and the party is going brilliantly.
Now there’s always one customer who gets a little bit over excited when something new arrives, but the last thing that I expected to see was some magic tricks! Marley really surprised us all when he pulled a Dynamo and started walking on water; I almost jumped down off my chair to check it out, but I knew that the other River Dogs might have sneaked off with my beloved towel!
Norman saw the whole thing up close and said it was the most spectacular trick that he’d ever seen. I guess Doggy Day Care Tadcaster really can surprise you even when you least expect it!
Checking Out The New Yard
The man in shorts has been working flat out making this yard for us (seriously, I’ve seen him fast asleep a dozen or so times now) and it looks incredible, but if you really want a good review then you need to send in the experts.
I asked Frankie and Norman to go check out the finer details, and they had a long morning meeting whilst admiring what I’m told are the pointing joints (Frankie builds kennels on the side while his owners are out for a little extra pocket money, so he knows all about these things). Norman was pretty impressed with it all too; now that the stones are gone he doesn’t spend as long slipping and sliding around, which means he can spend more time matt surfing at the end of the day!
A Party Of The Highest Pedigree
It’s not just the pool that’s new in the River Dogs yard; we’ve also got a sun lounging area too. Sophie is one of our upper class customers (she also tells good stories and is a world Dachshund hula champion!) and if you see a little bit of sun you’ll usually find Sophie relaxing in the rays. Now she has her own special area to sit in too (the man in shorts really has thought of everything!)
I know what you’re all thinking – why didn’t I go down and check out the pool for myself? Well, in the interest of giving a fair judgement I eventually gave up my spot and took a little dip. I have to admit that it’s pretty refreshing, and now that I’m down here it’s much bigger than I actually thought (who am I kidding, I’ve gone for a swim in puddles that are bigger than this). I’m thinking of sending this photo to a doggy swimwear company when I’ve published this blog, what do you think readers?
Thank’s for checking out my official review of the first ever River Dogs pool party! I hope you enjoyed reading about all of our antics and that you tune in for the next Dog Blog real soon!
