New Dog On The Block – Say Hello To Our New Customers!
Hello everyone, and welcome to a brand new River Dogs Dog blog! We hope that you enjoyed checking out our adventures over the pond with our super exciting Summer Dog Snacks blog post, but now we’re heading a little closer to home, to a doggy daycare near me and you as a matter of fact! We thought it would be nice to do a whole blog dedicated to some of our new friends to welcome them into the fold! It’s not easy being the new dog on the block, but hopefully after we’ve introduced them to you, they’ll feel much more at home! So, without further ado, let’s spread all four paws out in welcome to Honey, Bear, Riley, and Jess!
What’s It Like To Be The New Dog On The Block?
Honey could well be one of the cutest customers that we’ve ever had walk through our door (although we say thay about all of our four-legged friends in fairness). She’s such a little lady with big puppy-dog eyes, and was a little bit shy when she first trotted into our Dog Daycare centre here in the heart of the Tadcaster Doggy Day Care scene. It was a hot doggy day, but Honey didn’t mind having a big cuddle to get her settled down with us. Daycare for dogs can feel pretty daunting when you’re a young pup and around bigger dogs for the first time; it’s like moving up to secondary school and seeing the giant older boys and girls bouncing around. Luckily, the River Dogs are a lot more caring and compassionate than us humans, and they took to looking after Honey as though she had been with the rest of the gang since Day 1. General Parker of the Springer Squad even said he would innitiaite her as an honorary Springer and take her out on their next patrol. How cool is that!
Bear might have a scary sounding name, but he’s a sweet little guy with a lot of love to give (and he doesn’t roar either!). He’s a little more like Bear Grylls, except our little guy goes on adventures around Tadcaster instead of through the jungle (it’s much safer around here with a lot less snakes!). Bear is a very stylish pooch and can often be found in the latest issue of ‘Princely Pomeranian’, but when he’s not posing for the camera, he likes to relax back with a good book and write his memoirs. Bear was an instant hit with the River Dogs crew, especially the ladies, and has been having lots of fun with his new pals. He might be small, but he can certainly hold his own in sporting events and a good game of catch He’s already put his name down for the River Dogs World Cup next year and has shown an interest in writing his own dog blog pretty soon. Keep an eye out folks; this is one pup that is going places fast!
Keep Scrolling To Say Hello To Another New Dog On The Block!
Riley is such a happy customer and a dog that is full of life and energy. She can’t get enough of cameras, so much so that she tries to stick her nose into one whenever she is near by! Riley want’s to be the first dog photographer to take pictures of humans, so she’s always trying to get her paws on our snap-box to take a few pics of her own. We’re hoping to do a gallery for her at some point in the near future, so watch this space. When she’s not taking pictures of nature, her friends, and the sleeping River Dogs staff, Riley imitates a famous bassist in a Rock/Metal covers band. Can you guess who it might be? I bet she’d give you a Kiss if you got it right! Yep; you guessed it! Not even Gene Simmons can compete with that tongue!
Jess is only with us for a couple of days, but she’s taken to our poochy family very quickly. I’m not sure whether you’ve noticed just by looking at her inquisitive eyes, but if you take a look at the writing on her coat, you might get a bit of a better idea of what she does as a profession. Jess is a K9 agent – they’re like the FBI of the dog world! The Pointer Patrol have been running around like kids at Christmas trying to get information and stories out of her, but Jess is as cool as a cucumber. She’s undercover and can’t tell us too much about what she’s up to, but we’re sure that it’s something top secret that the government is relying on her to solve. She’s taken to hanging out with Rufus, who has started thinking of himself as a bodyguard of sorts. Who knows, maybe the K9 Julius league might be looking for new recruits in the near future, Ruf!
Thanks for checking out this New Dog On The Block Dog Blog, everyone! I’m sure all of our new recruits will feel very welcome now that you know a lot more about them, and maybe you can say hello to them the next time you drop your own four-legged friends off at River Dogs!
