Get Ready For Another River Dogs Doggy Photoshoot
Hello everyone, and welcome to another River Dogs dog blog. The world may seem like a stressful place right now, but our four-legged friends always bring joy into our days here at Tadcaster’s premier doggy day care centre. This week our pooches have been sticking to their usual schedule of playing, eating, walking and getting in that all-important beauty sleep (yes, I wish I could be a dog too). Next week, however, we have something very exciting happening. We’re having a doggy photoshoot!
That’s right; the paparazzi (better known as photography king Simon) are visiting River Dogs to get some cute snaps of your doggies. We love documenting daily life here at River Dogs and we think the dogs enjoy it even more. I mean, who doesn’t love being the centre of attention every now and again? This photography session will be a good opportunity for us to get some more super cute snaps of our four-pawed residents, old and new.
When you hear the words ‘doggy photoshoot’ you may have images of dogs in crowns or pirate costumes flashing through your mind. While we’re sure all our dogs will be preening themselves for the big day, we’re leaving the fancy dress costumes at home and sticking to an ‘au-naturel’ look. Our dogs don’t need tutus and tiaras to look fabulous, because they already are!
Our Tadcaster location, right on the bank of the River Wharfe, is the perfect backdrop to get some cute snaps of our well-loved daycare residents. Out by the water’s edge, we can see the dogs playing and walking in their natural habitat; there will be no cheesy poses here at River Dogs, just the dogs doing what they do best. Our outdoor photos do hinge on some good weather, so let’s hope the sun is shining for us next week!
Not only will the puparazzi (see what I did there…) come along with us on our walks in the countryside, but they’ll also capture our dogs chilling out at their second home from home. Getting out on a walk is a great opportunity for the dogs to shine in front of the camera, but sometimes our four-legged friends look the cutest when they are having their afternoon snooze or are out playing with their friends in the yard. Getting photos inside, as well as outside, is also a great opportunity for you to see what you furry family member gets up to when you’re away at work – now you can see what goes on behind the scenes and hopefully catch them on their best behaviour! (They’re all little angels really!)
This isn’t the first time River Dogs has introduced Simon the photographer to the dogs for a doggy photoshoot; some of our long term residents have already got some modelling experience under their belts. Hopefully, they will be able to show our newer recruits how it all works! Or maybe they will all be too busy enjoying the day to even notice the camera! Only time will tell, but don’t be surprised if your pups ask for an extra comb or a paw-wash before the big day!
Make sure to contact River Dogs to book your pooch in for doggy photoshoot day in good time. All of our details are on our website, or just pop in to have a chat with us to find out more information!
So, if you want to see what your pooch gets up to all day while with us here at River Dogs, then you’ll have a treat to look forward to when all the photos are displayed on our social media accounts over the coming weeks. Keep your eyes peeled by joining the River Dogs team on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
