‘Brothers In Arms’ – An Interview with Junior and Dave
Family means everything to us here at River Dogs, and it’s so great when we can have brothers and sisters joining us here for some Doggy Day Care In Tadcaster for a day of good old family fun. Take Junior and Dave, two of our newest recruits who look out for each other no matter what. We took time out from throwing balls and finding sticks to have a chat with them both about their time at River Dogs.
River Dogs ‘Brothers In Arms’ – A Front Paw Account Of Doggy Day Care In Tadcaster.
RD: Hello guys, how’s your day going so far at River Dogs
Junior: So for so good thanks, we’ve pretty much kept ourselves to ourselves today. It’s been super hot so we’ve been hanging out in the snug area.
Dave: Yeah it’s a dedicated no bark zone here at River Dogs so we’ve come in here for a bit of peace and quiet. Is not quite ready yet though; it’s still a bit ‘ruff’ around the edges…
Junior: …nice joke Dave…
Dave:…but it’s going to be great once it’s finished.
Junior: We’ve had a bit of a run around this morning but now we’re kicking back and listening to Snoop Dogg on the radio. This is the dogs life!
RD: How does it feel being part of the River Dogs family, and tell us about Doggy Day Care In Tadcaster?
Dave: It’s a real homely atmosphere here, and we love heading down to the river and relaxing on the shore. It’s nice to have so much freedom right on our doorstep.
Junior: Sometimes if Dave falls asleep I have to carry him back to HQ. ‘He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother’.
Dave: And the staff are really friendly too. Helen comes around and scratches us all behind our ears, and Mark always has a couple of treats on him around about lunch time.
Junior: Yeah he’s a big pushover if you know how to give him the ‘doggy eyes’. We learnt that on day one.
Dave: Tadcaster’s great too. It’s nice and quiet, and perfect for a safe walk around the town if we need to stretch our legs.
RD: Would you recommend River Dogs to your other friends who have to be left at home all day.
Junior: Oh yeah for sure! Why would you want to be at home all day long just sitting on your tail when you could be playing with your friends and enjoying the sunshine, going for walks and chasing sticks?
Dave: It’s a no brainier, plus we get the best care and so much attention whilst we’re here; it’s a home away from home.
Junior: Plus we’re professional players for the River Dogs football team too, along with Norman, Woody and Otis. What a great bunch of guys!
Dave: Booking us in is simple too. We just nudge the grown ups towards a computer and they book us in over the internet. It takes them no time at all, which means more time for back rubs for us!
RD: Finally, if you could each sum up River Dogs and your experience of Doggy Day Care In Tadcaster in three words what would they be?
Junior: Tough one. I’d say ‘A Doggy Paradise’. What about you Dave?
Dave: Easy, ‘Best Doggy-day-care-centre Ever!
Junior: ….That’s more than three words Dave…..
Dave: ……….*loud snoring*
Junior: Oh not again. I lied; you are heavy.
