Dog Day Care – Meet Our Furry Four Four Legged Friends

Hello everyone, and welcome to another brand new River Dogs dog blog! We hope that you’ve got used to the new Sunday evening time slot now and have worked it into your weekend schedule! We’ve had another great week with our four-legged friends running around and making us laugh, so we thought we’d share some of our best moments with you so that you can experience it too! Dog day care might be a serious business when it comes to healthcare and safety, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t have a good laugh at the same time. The Tadcaster Doggy Day Care scene is full of hidden surprises, and we have five of the best for you below. So, without further ado, let’s get all four paws out into the play yard and get cracking with our new dog blog!

Our day care unit provides a consistent, fun and caring setting for your dog to play, relax and socialise so you can focus & concentrate on the day job.

Charlie bear is the first pooch on our dog day care play-time list today. We needed a poster-pup to be the prime dog in the article, and Charlie stepped up to the plate magnificently. You might think that our camera caught an ‘off-the-cuff’ look here, but Charlie has been working on this Shakesperian, wistful stare for the past couple of months now. We’re thinking about holding a furry version of ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ in the new year; what part do you think Charlie could play?

Trev is our resident fashion guru, showing all of the River Dogs staff members and paw-happy customers alike how to look cool and sophisticated 24/7. Trev is bringing out his own range of self-titled doggy clothing in the new year. We’re hoping that the new brand will help to put Tadcaster on the map; we know that you have all said that River Dogs is the best doggy daycare in Yorkshire, but ‘Trev Clothing’ could send us up to being as famous as Hollywood. Imagine Jonny Depp and Charlize Theron swanning around with their pampered pups and heading into River Dogs to hold meetings with ‘our Trev’. Exciting, right?

If there is one dog that craves a good cuddle and can give you a feeling of being loved and wanted, it’s Logan. He has taken it upon himself to become the River Dogs councillor and resident therapist; it’s amazing what a good snuggle can do! Logan doesn’t just wrap his paws around the staff members and our guests you know; he can often be found snuggling up to the other boys and girls who trot through the door and helping them with their own personal problems. It takes a caring soul to make sure that others feel welcome and secure in new environments, and Logan has the biggest heart on the dog day care scene!

Zelda has been pretty busy recently; not only does she star in a whole series of Nintendo games and appear on gaming merchandise all over the world, but she’s also one of the main campaigners for dog cay care rights around Yorkshire. There’s no wonder she looks tired in this photo; she deserves a warm blanket and the comfiest sofa in town! Zelda has made the snug her second home and can often be found organising her campaigning leaflets, saving the world from monsters and goblins, and catching some all-important z’s.

Little Willow is one of the newest and cutest members of the River Dogs squad, and it looks like Trev has been working on promoting his new clothing business here with that stylish looking coat. Willow can often be found doing death-defying stunts like walking around the terrifyingly high bricks next to the River Dogs fence or practising Parkour on the neighbouring walls and stairwells. Just look at that poise too; I think we could be looking at the newest member of the GB Gymnastics team at the next Olympics! Move over
Olga Korbut; the world has a new superstar!
